The MoPYL team is meeting in Romania and preparing for the end of the project

On December 15 and 16, the team of the Erasmus+ program project “Mobile Program for Youth Learners” (MoPYL) implemented by Krimulda ev.luth. congregation met in Romania, city of Targu Jiu, where it was kindly hosted by one of the project’s partners – the Scout Society. The hospitality of the Romanians was appreciated by the teachers of St. Gabriel’s School from Spain and representatives of Krimulda congregation Sandija Zalupe, who is also the project manager, and Solvita Andzane.

“The project is coming to an end, so it was the right time to dot the i’s in person in order to successfully conclude the project with a developed informal education program for young people, developing in them leadership, motivation, responsibility and a sense of belonging,” emphasized S. Zalupe after the meeting. “We agree on the dates of the final conference, which will take place in January next year in each member state, in order to introduce the target groups, including specialists working with young people, and share the results of the project. We also discussed the work still to be done – preparation of the project’s final report, creation of an experience story about the progress of the project and lessons learned, as well as other topical issues.”

Both days of the meeting were filled with active work, but at the same time, the project team had the opportunity to enjoy both the joy of meeting and being together, as well as the approaching festive mood in the city of Targu Jiu.

The project is co-funded by the European Union. The project is implemented in the “Erasmus+” program in cooperation with the Agency for International Programs for Youth.
