A Young Leader – The Key To The Future

A couple of weeks ago, specialists working with young people, educators, coaches, as well as young people themselves gathered together at the rowing base of OC “Limbaži”, because the results of the Erasmus+ project “Mobile Program For Youth Learners” co-funded by the European Union were presented to a wider audience at the conference. The project has created a non-formal education program for developing youth leadership skills, motivation, responsibility and sense of belonging. The program includes 39 specific lesson plans that organizations and institutions in the fields of education, culture, sports, religion and other  whose work is related to young people can use in their daily work as methodical material for promoting the mentioned skills.

The Youth Leadership Project Will End With A Conference In Limbazi

The final conference (multiplier event) of the Erasmus+ project “Mobile Program for Youth Learners” (MoPYL) will take place on January 27 in Limbaži. Its purpose is to introduce specialists involved in work with young people, educators and other interested parties to the non-formal education program for the development of youth leadership created as a result of the project, to share experience in the implementation of Erasmus+ program projects, as well as to encourage them to try their hand at writing projects or get involved in them and gain valuable experience.

The MoPYL team is meeting in Romania and preparing for the end of the project

On December 15 and 16, the team of the Erasmus+ program project “Mobile Program for Youth Learners” (MoPYL) implemented by Krimulda ev.luth. congregation met in Romania, city of Targu Jiu, where it was kindly hosted by one of the project’s partners – the Scout Society. The hospitality of the Romanians was appreciated by the teachers of St. Gabriel’s School from Spain and representatives of Krimulda congregation Sandija Zalupe, who is also the project manager, and Solvita Andzane.

The Youth Leadership Project MoPYL Has Entered Its Final Phase

The Erasmus+ project “Mobile Program for Youth Learners” (MoPYL) has entered its final phase. The 39 lesson plans for the promotion of youth leadership, motivation, responsibility and sense of belonging provided by the project have been developed, translation work is currently underway. The lesson plans will soon be available in Latvian, English, Romanian and Spanish, and they can be used by specialists working with young people in cultural, educational, religious and other fields.
