From December 11 to 14 partners of project “Mobile Program for Youth Learners” Romanian Scout Society and the St. Gabriel School from Spain visited the Krimulda Evangelical Lutheran Congregation. During the meeting, issues related to the project jointly implemented by the church and foreign representatives on the creation of a curriculum for the development of leadership abilities of young people were discussed. In the congregation the curriculum will be approved and young people will be trained in Sunday school classes from next March. Young scouts in Romania will also learn leadership according to the developed program.

From December 11 to 14 Krimulda Evangelical Lutheran church will host foreign guests from Spain and Romania. They are the partners of the international project “Mobile Program for Youth Learners” implemented by the congregation from the Romanian Scout Society and Saint Gabriel School in Spain. The aim of the project is to develop a non-formal education program for the development of youth leadership, therefore during the meeting the participants will discuss and discuss the development of the curriculum, study plan and methodology so that the program can be implemented and approved within a year and a half.

Krimuldas Evangelical Lutheran Church this fall started implementing an international project, in which they will develop a training program for specialists involved in working with young people in order to develop leadership skills, self-confidence, self-motivation, responsibility and a sense of belonging to one of the social groups in young people. In cooperation with the project partners – the Scout Society of Romania and the San Gabriel School in the Spanish city of Zaragoza – it is planned not only to develop a curriculum with teaching materials and a thematic plan in the amount of 39 lesson plans, but also to test it to make sure its fitness for purpose. In the Krimulda congregation, youth training is planned in weekly Sunday school classes from March next year.
